Raw Nibbles is a young, British company, dedicated to creating nutritious yet delicious treats. Based in Glemsford, Suffolk, the company creates raw nibbles which are absolutely delicious, whilst very healthy, without compromising on flavour.

Established in 2012 by husband and wife team Soph and Ian Simmonds, Raw Nibbles came into fruition as a result of the couple’s mutual love of cooking and a desire to discover chocolate that was free from both beet or cane sugar and artificial sweeteners.

Initially the couple tried their hand at chocolatiering using a small, chocolate making kit but they struggled to get excited about the idea of raw, sin-free chocolate and had low taste expectations. However it didn’t take them long to realise that actually raw, healthy treats can be just as sweet and delicious if prepared in the right way. From there they combined Ian’s ten years of professional Chef experience, and Soph’s creativity to experiment and create their range of delicious raw treats! All of Raw Nibbles’ products are free from dairy, wheat, gluten, egg, soya and beet or cane sugar, and are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

“Winning THE ONE Competition has taught us a lot about how different aspects of our business needed to work in order to thrive. The feedback and help from the judges all the way through the process was invaluable. Our brand is much stronger, the website looks fantastic and the support we received from all the companies involved was beyond expectation. We'd highly recommend applying to THE ONE Competition as it can give you such a high level of support at a vital point in your businesses' growth.”

Raw Nibbles is now run by Liz Slingsby.
